What is Bury?

Bury is ShibaSwap version of crypto staking. Typically, staking on an exchange involves an asset being locked away for a specified amount of time to provide liquidity for the exchange. In return you earn “rewards” for providing that liquidity. The difference between ShibaSwap and other exchanges is that ShibaSwap does not lock away your Bury-ied tokens. Instead, 67% of your rewards are locked away for 6 months. The other 33% of your rewards are available as soon as they’re distributed. The benefit of using this method is that your own staked tokens are available to you whenever you need them. It should be noted that ShibaSwap, while gaining some liquidity from locked rewards, does not make it's liquidity from your staked SHIB, BONE, or LEASH. The main way a decentralized exchange (DEX), such as ShibaSwap, makes it's liquidity is through token farming. More on that in the next issue.

What are my rewards?

It should be noted that the rewards listed on the WoofpaperV2 have been updated:

"Bi-Weekly, the transaction fees from each transaction on ShibaSwap for Woofable pairs, are pooled and distributed to those who have staked (buried) or provided liquidity (digged) on ShibaSwap. These are given in a variety of tokens including WBTC, ETH and others and causing the Shibian to spend ETH in gas to woof their reward.

To nullify this issue, we’ve decided to unify all the stablecoins rewards (WBTC, USDT, USDC, DAI and ETH) into BONE for distribution. The returns process will be the same and there is no change on contracts but we will convert, internally, all that returns into BONE, and distribute normally." -Shytoshi Kusama in his Oct 19th Medium article, "SHIB SUCCESS!".

With this in mind, the updated rewards:

SHIB:

• 3% of ALL Bone per block minted.
• 0.1% of ALL ETH swap transaction fees converted to Bone.
• 0.05% of ALLOCATED swap fees converted to SHIB.
• 1% of ALL Ryoshi's Vision transactions distributed as Ryoshi's Vision evenly to all xSHIB holders.

$200k worth of Ryoshi's Vision was added to the rewards distribution wallet upon Ryoshi's Vision being listed on ShibaSwap. That initial amount was earmarked to be distributed evenly to all xSHIB holders over the course of 20 weeks. There are only a few more weeks left of this initial amount of Ryoshi's Vision being distributed.
